Prakranta: The Brave Deed by Abhimanyu

Jena Artisan

This sculpture relives the bravery (Prakranta in Sanskrit) of Abhimanyu in the war of Mahabharat. With Arjuna, the ultimate warrior away from the battlefield; it was upon the young shoulders of Abhimanyu to save the day for the Pandavas against the marauding Kaurav army. Abhimanyu taking upon himself destroys and enters the chakravyuh war form, which had threatened to destroy the Pandav army and after inflicting tremendous pain on the Kaurav army, gets killed mercilessly by a group of Kaurav generals but not before saving the day for the Pandavas.
Since eons Abhimanyu remains the symbol of bravery and ultimate sacrifice. His deed has inspired generations and continues to do so.
